Full Service Design
Entire transformations from start to finish
This Service is ideal if:
You’re renovating an entire home or undertaking a full room remodel — including kitchens, bathrooms, extensions or complete layout redesigns.
You want a designer to look at the whole picture: spatial planning, flow, lighting design, materials, joinery, fixtures, finishes and final styling.
You need a technically accurate design including scaled plans, elevations, lighting layouts and contractor-ready drawings, all built from your consultation, site visit and design questionnaire.
You’d like guidance selecting flooring, paint colours, lighting, architectural details (such as coving, architraves, window/door casings), wallpapers, textiles and bespoke joinery.
You'd like conceptual clarity through moodboards, theme development and optional 3D visualisations to help you fully picture your space before any work begins.
You’d like every furnishing and finish professionally sourced (FF&E, décor, fixtures, fittings and materials) supported by organised schedules and documentation.
You want procurement handled end-to-end, including placing orders, coordinating deliveries and ensuring everything arrives as expected.
You’re looking for a trusted partner who manages every detail, keeps the project moving, and ensures your home transforms beautifully without the overwhelm.
We operate UK-wide and are open to travelling. For locations outside our immediate region the fee will reflect travel and logistics.

We start with a no-obligation conversation to understand your aspirations, budget, and timeline. This helps us determine the best level of service for your project.
Next, we visit your property and complete a detailed questionnaire together. This allows us to fully understand your space, requirements, and goals so we can create a tailored plan.
Based on our findings, we prepare a full design brief and quotation for your approval. This outlines the scope of work, design intent, schedule, and costs, ensuring we’re aligned before any design work begins.
During the design phase, we create floor plan iterations and layout revisions, 2D elevations, and technical drawings. We develop mood boards, select materials, textures, and finishes, and put together detailed FF&E sourcing and shopping lists.
Once the design is finalised, we oversee the build and installation or hand over detailed plans to your chosen team. We also handle the final styling, arranging furniture and decor to make your home feel cohesive and beautifully finished.
Our Pricing:
Design quotations are provided per project and costed at a daily rate and not % based.
Scope varies widely depending on scale, location, and client requirements.
Project Management quotations are provided per project and costed on a % base.
Virtual Design Services
Professional design packages delivered remotely, room by room.
This Service is ideal if:
You want to refresh a room without major renovations or construction.
You’re happy with the bones of your space but need help with layout, furniture, lighting, décor, colour, and styling direction.
You want a designer’s expertise — but prefer to implement everything yourself, in your own time and at your own pace.
You’re looking for a more affordable way to access Studio Kay’s design style and guidance for a single room.
You want a quick turnaround — usually 2–4 weeks, depending on the scope.
This is not the right service if:
You’re planning a renovation, want new finishes (flooring, tiles, coving, lighting rewiring, window changes, joinery, etc.), or need a designer on site.

You complete our detailed questionnaire, supply room measurements, photos, list of furniture items to retain, and a budget range.
We’ll meet for a quick online consultation to discuss your space, style, and needs in more detail. During this session, we’ll also share an initial concept board as a first creative response to your brief, ensuring we’re aligned on the overall direction and mood for your space.
Based on everything we’ve discussed, we’ll prepare and share your first-round designs. This round may explore two slightly different directions to help you visualise your options. You’ll have the opportunity to share feedback so we can refine the design before finalising.
We’ll deliver your completed design package via PDF to your email address.

The Design Consultation Process:
90-minute video consultation with our Principle Designer, Chelsi-Kay.
You complete a design questionnaire & send us photos of your space in advance.
On the call, we explore your goals, the room's potential, and quick-win ideas. as well as a concept board we will put together prior (based on your answers).
After the call you receive a PDF of the inspiration board we discussed with 3-5 minimum actionable tips.
